Norwegian Finans Holding ASA : The Norwegian Ministry of Finance upholds the Financial Supervisory Authority's assessment on pillar 2 capital adequacy

We refer to the stock exchange release dated 7 April 2017 where we explained that the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway had fixed the pillar 2 requirement for the bank at 4.2 per cent of risk-weighted assets.

As stated in the said release, the bank filed a complaint to the Ministry of Finance regarding this decision. The bank has now received the Ministry's decision in the matter, where the Ministry upholds the Financial Supervisory Authority's decision dated 7 April 2017. The minimum requirement for common equity tier 1 capital for Bank Norwegian is after this clarification 15.7 percent at the end of Q3 2017.
